The Chronology...
10,000 years ago: The Eternal War.
Eternion, looking for power, had the Mugendai-Yaiba (Infinity Blade) forged, a weapon of indescribable power, capable of destroying fellow eternals. He started a war in order to take control of the Eternals. It crossed into the ADVENTURERS! world dimensionset, and near This Planet, at about 10,000 years ago. The war was fought to a standstill until Infinel managed to knock Mugendai-Yaiba away from Eternion. By the end of the war, most of the Eternals were destroyed- there were dozens before, and now less than 20. To fill out the ranks of Lesser Eternals, a crystal was formed through which a magical gem known as "Flowgem" could be created and molded. It was molded into masks and given to Finites who then gained the power of a Lesser Eternal. It was given to the Kildracks to avoid any of the Eternals forming an army, after enough Lesser Eternals were signed on. The council was formed, and many of the weapons were lost, including a copy of the sheet music to the Melody of Finite, and both great Eternal Swords, Mugendai-Yaiba and Kyuukyoku-Yaiba. On Eternion was used one of the sealing amulets, which was eventually taken off and lost as well. The other remained in the hands of the Lesser Eternal charged with using the Seals. Finis: Judge, Eternal of Justice was once a normal man who was fetched from a time 200 years before the present. After the sealing, Eternion consipired to remove his powers. He was secretly sent, without his mask, back to the ADVENTURERS! world, but almost 200 years after he was taken from. Now, his two old lives behind him, an anonymous silver haired man, he went through many ordeals and eventually joined Khrima's servitude. Khrima gave him spiffy armor.

30 years ago: The Legendary Evil.
A Legendary Evil appeared in the land, and four adventurers went to seal it away for a thousand years. They ended up just defeating it instead, using the legendary Hero's Blade. Two of them, the preistess and the fighter, obviously, settled down together to start a family. Ten years later, Karn was born. The mage became a professor at the magical institute near Lokar, and the theif became a used equipment salesman.

3 Years before the beginning of ADVENTURERS!: University Boy
Khrima begins classes at Evil University.

2 Years before the beginning of ADVENTURERS!: Garshask Appears
Garshask shows up Khrima at every turn, so Khrima then challenges him to a duel. A quick summon city bus, and Khrima is the winner

1 Year before the beginning of ADVENTURERS!: Khrima Sets up shop
Khrima begins his evil empire.

A few months before the beginning of ADVENTURERS!: The Ninja Raid
Khrima set up an excivation site near Secret Ninja Hideout Mountain in order to find relics of the ancient Kildracks, and because of this was constantly under Secret Ninja Raids. At one point, Khrima visited the facility, and as a result Tsukeawase takes his two daughters to investigate exactly why it was so important. Up until that point it was just a minor target. Mizuna, Karashi's sister, goes missing when the raid goes wrong and joins Khrima's forces.

An unspecified time, years before ADVENTURERS!: Bardic Academy
During training at Bardic Academy, an incident caused Dirlend to lose face and drop out. He wasn't seen for years but hid in secret.

ADVENTURERS!: Khrima, in his attempt to subjegate every city he can, attacks Karn's hometown with a weapon. This results in Karn's quest to stop Khrima and as a result, he meets up with Ardam due to an incident at the Academy (this is to be elaborated on, later) and Ardam joins the quest, and finds out too late that it might not have been a good idea.
Khrima captures Ardam, and Karn then comes to the rescue using boggle.
Later, a theif makes off with Karn's entire equipment- including but not limited to his clothes. When they meet up with the perpetrator, he decides to join their quest against Khrima.
Khrima is having trouble with his image, and Cody, originally a gunman and technician for the Spybot project, and now a publicist, is fired as a result.
They meet the bard Gildward, who at this point did not yet have Musicallibur, and dismiss him as a worthless musician. He follows them around, eager to prove himself. He tries a harp, but it doesn't help
The party encounters Whizrom, the dark wizard of evil. His connections to Ardam aren't elaborated upon, and the rest of the party leaves to watch an FMV, so that Ardam has to defeat Whizrom himself.
Eventually, Gildward finds the Musicallibur. Dirlend finds out about this and began to seek his revenge, seeking the dark lute Songbringer.
Gildward attempts to join the party again, by showing his new magical legendary harp. It doesn't impress the party much, but they unceremoniously let him join.
A throwing contest is announced, and Drecker is keen to go. The idea of a sidequest is always good for Karn, so they agree to attend. A female ninja beats Drecker but that's okay, because Drecker seems to have a thing for her. We find out her name is Karashi.
The party meets up with Chookie, the androgenous cute chararcter that's completely useless. Even a strong booting didn't keep Chookie from following them around and joining the party against their wishes.
At some point, Spybot wins over the hearts of the party members. He is then accused of spying but nobody truly beleives it.
The party is ambushed by an incredibly powerful being, the Eternal known as Eternion. Feeling threatened, Khrima shows up and battles Eternion. Eternion transforms into Eternity, and Khrima begins losing. Badly. But at the last moment, Gildward saves the day with the Melody of Finite, binding Eternity's form such that his raging power actually damages him. Eternion is then beaten by Khrima's mallet of extreme pain and then easily escapes his bindings when they aren't looking.
The ADVENTURERS! continue their quest, and a quick battle with Khrima makes people think that Khrima was vanquished. Not liking this, he puts Karn in a chain apparatus, and is tricked into revealling his past. Realising the trick, he attacks the power and is beaten by an Ardam summon.
Karashi receives a letter from 'Gildward'. Not yet knowing the Bard's real name they investigate. Gildward also receives a letter saying it's from Karashi, to meet at the wind temple. After finding out Gildward is the Bard, it turns out to be a trap set by Dirlend. By this time he found Songbringer. The battle rages, and then Gildward trips - giving Dirlend the advantage. But, weak restraints don't hold back ninjas, and Karashi's escape leads to Dirlend being sent to a local dungeon.
A mysterious gold trimmed black armored silver haired man tries to pass himself off as a good guy, but fails miserably, being silver haired and gold trimmed black armored.
While writing songs, Gildward is captured by Eternion, who sends messengers with letters... one to Khrima using Garshask... and one to Karn. Karn and Khrima then are confronted by Eternion- and are easily overwhelmed by his power. Inches away from defeat, another Eternal, Infinel, saves them by delivering a message. It's the will of the council for Eternion to face tribunal. The Grand Eternal decides to take care of Gildward- because the Melody of Finite was not meant for mortals to wield.
A mysterious barefist fighter attacks the party as vengance for his pet DmonPig. After Chookie tries to beat him and fails, the party tries and easily succeeds, sending the fighter off in defeat.
Meanwhile, Dirlend stews in his cell, eventually escaping through the means of a sleep song. He seeks council with Khrima, and they join forces. As a result, Dirlend's long time admiration of the bardic Dark Arts can be put to practice as he is given cyborg implants and a guitar- giving birth to The Axe. He proves to be too much for most of the party, when a gun-toting woman appears and shoots out the Axe's amplified speaker. A Tracker for the Geldrin Armed Force, she challenges and defeats The Axe, and joins the party because she has an instant crush on Ardam.
The party was then kidnapped by the Silver Haired Guy in Gold Trimmed Black Armor and split up into a maze of death. Karashi and Drecker confess their love for each other, and then Tesla helps everyon escape from the maze by using Spybot to break down the walls.
Khrima accidentally shatters the Crystal of the Kildracks, sending Ardam and Karn to a desert island which they escape easily, and changing the face of the world forever (mostly putting a big canyon in it). Khrima's tower is changed forever, technology merging with organic matter. Khrima himself gets a strange marking on his face, and he gains immense power, and strange abilities.
The Grand Eternal, Maxima Termis, manifests in these dimensions to search for Gildward. Before he finds them, a book mysteriously appears where they're staying outlining many truths about the Eternals. By playing the Melody of Finite, and casting Vanish and Undimension, Maxima Termis is trapped outside of existance forever. Eternion sees this as an opportunity to rise..
Kemmit and Meck, long time repeating, bumbling rivals to the ADVENTURERS in the Biggs and Wedge or Solt and Peppor sense, are approached in a bar by a mysterious caped woman. She offers them a tank in exchange for servitude under Khrima.. they accept and attack the heroes. They accidentally blow a hole in the ground, the tank falls in, and the mysterious woman decides to take things into her own hands. Revealling herself to be Mizuna, Karashi's lost sister, she attempts to assassinate the party but is met by resistance in the form of Karashi herself. A fight rages and when Karashi has Mizuna on the ropes, Mizuna transforms into her full Khaos General form- prompting Karashi to remind her this is supposed to be a fair fight. Mizuna then conceds the fight, revealls Khrima's Khaos General force - her, the Silver Haired Guy, and The Axe - and leaves.
Eternion sneaks out, and follows leads to find one of the lost Great Swords of the eternals. He discovers Kyuukyoku-Yaiba (The Terminal Blade) in a cave, sticking out of a rock, and puts the next phase of his plan into action.
Soon after, Eternion storms into the Council chambers, and takes control over the Eternal order. Infinel resists, but is quickly felled by the power of the Terminal Blade. Right after, he sends out a press release, naming himself as the villain and naming Khrima kin to Golbez or Shinra. Khrima begins plans to reinstate his name, but before he can do anything Eternion sends the assassin Eternal Invisin to destroy Khrima once and for all.. but not if Khrima's generals have anything to say about it... The Axe plays the Melody of Finite, albiet it isn't as powerful played on an electric guitar, and Mizuna transforms, engages Invisin and fights well until Invisin tricks herself into the upper hand. And then the Silver Haired Guy, aka "Argent" reveals himself as the lesser eternal Finis! He defeats Invisin with a single powerful strike and uses the sealing amulet he was given to make Invisin into just another mortal. Pleased with his Khaos Generals, Khrima adds another to the mix.. Blanc, the vengeful barefist fighter.
Tesla receives a kidnapping note saying the main party has been KIDNAPPED! Snapping into action, she, Karashi, and Spybot search out the kidnapper and find out it was no other than Cody: Creator of Spybot and Khrima's old hired help and revealled to be an old flame of Tesla! Only now, it turns out he's working for Eternion and Eternion gave him a new toy: Warbringer, the most powerful pistol ever made. An appearance by Karn reveals the kidnapping is a hoax, and the fight is called off.
Ardam, Karn, and Karashi go to the Haunted Castle of Manganese Doom to find the Manganese elemental relic and encounter, of all people, Argent/SHG! He talks to Karashi since he was present during the raid in which Mizuna went missing and then they are all ambushed by Khrima's school rival Garshask, now working for Eternion with a shard of flowgem! He has increidble mastery over distortion magic and surprises even Argent with his abilities. The team gets out safely due to what is revealled to be Karn's inherited intuition, from his father the half-skyrian Ker! A huge distorted ball destroys the castle. The relic is recovered but what of Argent?
A mysterious sage told a story of a scientist who, after an accident, became evil and started a war. It turns out the scientist is Eternion, and the old man is none other than Imposis, the sage of the Eternals. It appears he's on the side of good, and it was he who provided the tome to the heroes, not expecting them to banish Maxima Termis, only beat him enough to get him to listen.
Meanwhile, Garshask has Argent shackled to the wall. It turns out that Garshask's power is due to a peice of an old, broken Lesser Eternal mask. However, the mental feedback from the previous owner's imprint is slowly driving Garshask insane. Argent manages to escape when Garshask is out of the room, and Imposis leaves the heroes. Helping them any more openly would result in Eternion striking Imposis down, so he goes back into hiding as part of Eternion's ill-gotten organization.
As they travel, the party meets Khari, Khrima's sister. She tells him about his past - how he was abnormally evil even as an infant, and she tells them that they can get the Tome translated at the Church of the Messenger.
As they track down the elemental relics, they fall into a trap left by new Chaos General Blanc - the pugilist they met previously! However, Drecker's superior agility gets the best of him in his normal form and even in his transformed form, so he tries to destroy the entire group in one blast. Time freezes, and a voice tells them to work together to beat this foe. They do, and Blanc escapes. The voice that told them what to do was Endless, Lesser Eternal, instructed by Imposis. Unfortunately, Eternion shows up and strikes Imposis down, leaving Eternion as the only remaining active member of the main council.
They arrive at the Church and meet Lucinda, high priestess, and they discover that the fighting of the Eternals are the basis of their religion. The Messenger is Infinel, who had previously died. Endless shows up to tell the party what happened to Imposis, and they find out that they need to find the second Sealing Amulet to stop Eternion (the first already on Inivisn). One of the Priestess's aides Lumi actually owns it! But she lost it when she was tending to a local temple. She joins the party and they're on the way! After a runin with puzzles and a boss, they find the amulet, and Lumi decides to join the party for good.
We are introduced to a new villian - a theif named Rio who isn't very good at theiving. After trying to steal a huge thing and failing, he steals a lot of small things, and attracts a mysterious benefactor who needs him for his skills. Rio joins exitedly.
Then there was a story about Chookie and Gildward. Chookie ends up getting the Legend Gloves from the ghost of a great Chook hero's ghost, but it's otherwise unimportant, except they were seemingly saved by Khrima so that they would be able to beat Eternion (since that's all Gildward is good for)
The heroes track down the last artifact, only to have it bought by a mysterious cloaked man. Rio runs in and steals the artifact, and then Drecker steals it back, giving the heroes the final artifact. Unfortunately for Rio, it seemed the cloaked man and his benifactor were the same- and it turned out to be Eternion all along.
The heroes take the last artifact to the statue in Vine Forest. It opens a path that only Karn may tread, so he enters and steps on a transporter pad. Transported to a cosmic space room, he has to fight the Ultra Vine to prove his worth (which he does easily). Soon, the voice leading him along reveals itself as a semi-sentient holographic terminal representation of Infinel. He bestows upon Karn the powerful Infinity Mail, armor made with the power to defeat Eternion. He returns to the party, and then home to show it off to his parents. His father gives him his old sword from when he beat his final boss, and they set off once more.
Khrima accidentally destroys Aquaria. It's a humorous aside, but irrelevant to the plot.
And so, the heroes attempt to attack Khrima's tower only to find it protected by three shield generators, each protected by a Khaos General. They fight the Axe, but he accidentally destroys the generator himself. They fight Mizuna, and convince her to become good again. And then, they go to the final generator.
Argent's generator.
They discover from him he used to be a lawyer, he became an Eternal, and was tricked by Eternion to return to mortality. Unfortuantely, they put him there after his family was brutally murdered -leaving him without any hope in the world. Khrima gave him a life again, and that is why he serves him, because he thinks Khrima can make the world a more orderly place. Argent and Karn fight one on one in a fighting-minigame format, and Karn beats him by releasing the awesome power of the Infinity Buster, a sealed power in his armor.
The generators destroyed, they head to the tower again, and it is destroyed! Eternion has arrived to finish what he started. He destroys the Musicallibur, and then ARgent shows up. A valiant fight ensues, and Eternion gets hit- but not for enough because he is knocked to the ground. Endless shows up and takes over, transforming into Infinite mode to battle Eternion.. unfortunately Eternion's skill outclasses Endless's power, and Endless is destroyed. However, Endless did manage to cut off Eternion's left hand. Argent tries one final strike against Eternion, but is blown away by a magical blast.
Garshask shows up with Lumi in tow, and so the situtation is that Eternion has Lumi captive, and the party is powerless to stop him.
Meanwhile, Rio saved Invisin from the explosion, and lets that fact slip while they are talking, so Invisin bolts to the battle scene.
Eternion abuses Lumi, and then lets her drop. This once again triggers Infinity Buster, and Karn saves Lumi using his new powers that he can now control. Eternion aggrees to a standard boss fight, and Karn picks Karashi and Ardam as his party members. He uses the Infinity Buster move Truth Buster on his party members, transforming them into incredibly powerful versions of themselves. They fight hard, Ardam even managing to summon Infinel before Eternion transforms into Eternity. It comes down to just Ardam damaged with the other two members dead, and he hits a Double-Magic attack, defeating Eternion.
The weakened Eternion staggers as Argent shows up again, battered, bruised and Broken. He uses Lumi's amulet to seal Eternion, and then calls for Karn to kill Eternion before it's too late. Just then, Invisin shows up and Karn agrees to let the sealed Eternion into her care. Just when things are looking up for the couple, they get exploded by Argent, destroying them completely. Argent then takes the gathered villians to a secluded cape, to tell them to leave the heroes alone. They leave, and he sits down by the tree. His internal injuries too great to cure, he passes on staring at the ocean he loves so much.
Cody decides to help the heroes, since he never really followed Eternion's ideals - he just wanted to beat Khrima. He gives Tesla the Spybot secret code disk, and suddenly from the ground, Khrima's secret floating battlefortress appears! Khrima is not dead after all, and the Khrimalith threatens all that lives! Cody agrees to pilot the airship and co-ordinate the three-pronged infiltration.
The three teams (Karn, Drecker, and Lumi as "Team Alpha", Tesla, Spybot, and Karashi as "Team We Rule", and Ardam, Chookie and Gildward as "Team Useless") split up and begin fighting through the Khrimalith.
Ardam's team encounters Whizrom encased in an orb of Crystallium, now calling himself Whizrorb. Gildward defeats him (!) by hitting the resonant frequency of the orb, cracking it and destroying Whizrom finally.
Tesla's team encounters a giant robot piloted by Kemmit and Meck! Using the secret disk, Tesla transforms Spybot into the Spybot Cannon, destroying the Khrimech entirely.
Karn's team encounters the Dark Doomsceror, a visiage of pain and death. Using Truth Buster, he transforms his party once more. . .
